Sales Director – A Research Sales Director, whom will be responsible for generating new revenue against a quarterly target, selling equity research to a mostly sell side client base.
Our client is a top global Financial Technology research provider for both buy and sell side clients.
-7-10 years’ experience in a Sales Hunter position within the financial technology industry.
-Right candidate must understand the sell side space (banks, broker dealers, retail)
-Candidates can come from either the SaaS, DaaS, or Research verticals within fintech! -Must have a proven track record of generating new leads, prospecting, setting up meetings and closing business.
-Strong organization, time management, and customer facing skills to grow the client base and drive revenues.
-Excellent presentation (for demos), business writing, analytical and oral communication skills to C-Suite executives.
-College/University degree required, MBA preferred.
-Must prospect and close new business for the client’s Equity based research products. Hunter Mentality!!
-Selling research with an avg deal size of 100-500k, with a yearly quota of 800k.
-Candidate will also be given a book of business from inception and have to retain and upsell clients.
- Present live or remote product demonstrations for existing and prospective partners
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, annual revenue and KPI targets.
