Sales Director - A an established global Financial Technology firm is looking for a hybrid hunter/account manager to join their NY team. The right candidate will sell their multi asset research and analytic data to both buy and sell side clientele.
-Must have (5-8yrs.) quota beaten sales experience in the fintech data/research sales space.
-Must have exp. selling to both buy and sell side firms (investment banks, PE firms, and consulting firms)
-Exp. generating leads and closing on 3-6 month sales cycles.
-Excellent presentation, business writing, analytical and oral communication skills.
-College/University bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.
-Right candidate must generate leads via cold calling, social media, networking, and attending conference events.
-Candidate must bring in new leads, and then manage those leads. There is no account management team.
-Right candidate will work closely with the pre-sales team to close leads.
-Must travel to meet clients nationwide.
-Achieve/exceed sales objectives and quotas, will answer to the Head of Sales.
