Sales Consultant – Investment Management SaaS

A quickly growing SaaS Investment Managament Analytics firm in New York City is looking to add a sales executive experienced in pure SaaS solutions. Known for their top SaaS that is disrupting the commission management space having built brand new platform that is very unique to the industry, our client is a top-of-the-line technology solution for the investment management community.

The ideal candidate will have a combined knowledge of SaaS sales and technical abilities to lead product demos and be the lead SME. This is a combination role, one for those who love to show off their technical acumen and still be able to make a large upside in sales with their commission plan!

Relevant Skills:

  • Knowledge of the Financial Services community, understanding the markets needs and challenges a big plus
  • Ability to have in-depth conversations about SaaS solutions, must really understand SaaS products and the sales lifecycle involved
  • Hunter mentality, expertise in new business sales and the ability to knock down doors
  • Energetic, passionate and entrepreneurial mindset with a never-let-die attitude
  • Ability to build strong relationships and leverage network to find and approach decision makers
  • Technical knowledge of software, maybe even the ability to code or understand code / programming languages

Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue by bringing in new logos or retaining and upselling major accounts in the Investment management space
  • Develop and remain current with product knowledge, market information, and relevant news
  • Understanding SaaS and how they can best serve each potential client
  • Utilize CRM data-base to organize key contacts and decision makers
  • Break down barriers via cold-calling, email marketing and networking to raise brand awareness

Qualifications:

  • 3-7 Years of b2b SaaS sales
  • Big plus for selling SaaS into financial services and affiliated market knowledge of the financial services industry
  • Excited to work with a very small team including the Head of Sales and the US Managing Director. There are only 3 US based Employees.
  • BA / BS degree from an accredited 4-year university
