A start-up Fintech company catering to buy side asset managers and hedge funds is looking to add a mid-level Sales Executive to their team in London. They are a growing business with a product suite that includes order management, portfolio management, analytics and a dashboard reporting solution.

This role will suite an ambitious mid-level sales person with the ability work in a start-up environment to a high degree of autonomy. In the short to mid-term your aim is to generate leads, book sales meetings, increase brand awareness and prepare proposals and close new business with the support.

You will be supported throughout the cycle by the company founder and the pre-sales in London with the aim of progressing into a senior sales executive over time.

Despite being a small company, my client is winning business against big names in the buy side software space and is able to address the buy side desire for light weight and cost effective solutions.

Requirements:

  • Sales experience in Fintech, preferably having sold to asset managers / hedge funds
  • Able to talk about the buy side and asset classes with confidence
  • Self-starter – able to work in a start-up environment to a high degree of autonomy
  • An interest in technology and able to talk passionately about the solutions to prospective clients
  • Able to produce high quality documentation especially sales proposals
  • Confidence in engaging with prospective client at industry networking events
