Risk Software Sales Executive - Insurance

A global Financial Technology and Analytics company is looking for a Sales Executive with experience selling Risk Software and Predictive Modeling Analytics to Actuary Officers in the Insurance Industry. A global leader in the space, they are looking to expand across the US with the support of a hunter focused, new business sales person to bang on doors of C-Level executives and present with and actuarial mentality.

This sales person will have sold risk software to the insurance space targeting the Chief Actuary officer, with a big bonus for having an actuarial background.

Relevant Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of the Insurance community, understanding the markets needs and challenges
  • Ability to have in-depth conversations about risk software solutions
  • Hunter mentality, expertise in new business sales and the ability to knock down doors
  • Energetic, passionate and entrepreneurial mindset with a never-let-die attitude
  • Ability to build strong relationships and leverage network to find and approach decision makers


  • Drive revenue by acquiring new major accounts in the Insurance industry
  • Develop and remain current with product knowledge, market information, and relevant news
  • Understanding Risk Software and Predictive Modeling Analytics and how they can best serve each potential client
  • Utilize CRM data-base to organize key contacts and decision makers
  • Break down barriers via cold-calling, email marketing to Chief Actuarial Officers


  • 5+ Years of similar Risk software sales into Insurance Firms
  • Hunter, new logo acquisition experience a must with proven ability to over-achieve quotas
  • BA / BS degree from an accredited 4-year university
  • Actuarial background is a big plus
  • Proficiency using Customer Relationship Management tools i.e. Salesforce
