Job description

QA Engineer / BDD / Selenium / Automation / Agile / Hedge Fund / City of London

We are currently working with an established hedge fund in the city who are embarking on an exciting multi-year technology overhaul across multiple trading systems. The core technology function is based in London and will be primarily focusing on brand new greenfield systems design and development across a range of trading functions.

To aid in this program of work, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced QA expert to work in a true Agile development team function adding value right across the development life-cycle being involved at the early systems and architecture design stages all the way through to production (rather than as an after thought at the end of the process). This is an excellent opportunity for a genuinely passionate QA professional to truly add value and join a consensus orientated build culture making significant contributions across the technology value-chain.

The ideal candidate will have extensive QA expertise in terms of defining projects, running analysis programs, unit testing, script creation and environment ownership; ultimately you will need to be an expert in systems behaviours and building appropriate QA solutions to handle these. On a technical level you should have deep knowledge in areas including (but not limited to) behaviour-driven development (BBD) and Selenium (web browser automation) as well as the traditional stack of associated QA technologies, methods and systems.
