Harrington Starr are delighted to partner with a leading financial services technology organization based in the City of London who are looking to hire a Programme / Product Manager to join their successful team as they enjoy a sustained period of growth.Our client provides an award-winning software suite for the hedge fund & private equity market; ranging from funds selection, portfolio construction, funds fact sheet, portfolio reporting, portfolio management and funds due diligence. Their customer-base is renowned in the sector and internationally based.
Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in developing a plan to automate the cloud platform, including change management, continuous integration, and delivery.
- Ensure that everyone in the company understands the vision and delivery plan, and oversee the implementation of ongoing projects, making sure all dependencies are managed.
- Manage budgets for new development and operational delivery, optimizing the cloud services and finding ways to make the organization more efficient.
- Oversee hardware, software, and infrastructure services provided to both internal and external users, while maintaining security and finding opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate and allocate resources within the Technology team and with partners, prioritizing transformation projects, as well as ongoing maintenance, changes, and support for platforms and services.
- Determine which parts of the cloud development can benefit from AI, such as front-end development, HTML, unit test creation, and replacing certain validators.
- 10+ years of experience in management roles, overseeing teams both onshore and offshore.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI in development, specifications, and testing processes.
- Extensive experience in managing cloud development teams, with a strong understanding of finance and a track record of successful launches for financial cloud-based solutions.
- Advocacy for best practices in fintech and demonstrate dedication and hard work.
- Possess a solid understanding and practical experience in the technology stack, including C# .Net and MS SQL for backend development, as well as React.js for frontend development.
