We are working with a innovative trading organisation who are looking for a Product designer to join their trading technology team.
The aim of the team is to build and maintain a number of in-house applications. The goal is for these to share a consistent and reusable set of UI/UX designs. To date the UI/UXs in these applications have been designed by full stack developers alongside business users. This approach has led to designs that are functionally rich but lacking in consistency and user friendliness. This is where you will come in to bring consistency and user friendly applications.

Job description
Senior Product DesignerWe are working with a innovative trading organisation who are looking for a Product designer to join their trading technology team.
The aim of the team is to build and maintain a number of in-house applications. The goal is for these to share a consistent and reusable set of UI/UX designs. To date the UI/UXs in these applications have been designed by full stack developers alongside business users. This approach has led to designs that are functionally rich but lacking in consistency and user friendliness. This is where you will come in to bring consistency and user friendly applications.
Requirements
- Experience of working as a UI/UX designer full time within an organisation
- Experience creating and maintaining branded guidelines and libraries
- Comfortable working on experience/interaction designs
- Excellent working knowledge of Figma or equivalent design software
- Ability to prototype using design programs is desirable
- Experienced in producing build specs for development teams to translate designs into code
- Confident in conducting user UI/UX requirement interviews and design concept testing.
