Pre-sales Consultant – Fund Accounting, Fund Administration, NAV

The company

A market leading provider of software and SaaS solutions to the global financial services industry is looking for someone with fund accounting expertise to join their pre-sales team in London (City). They are willing to provide training and support to help someone move from an operations, consulting or implementation role (or similar) into pre-sales and you will be part of a supportive team that shares a pooled target and therefore a common goal.

The role

  • Working with prospective customers to demonstrate the fund accounting solutions
  • Coordinate proof of concepts (POC’s)
  • Travelling in the UK and Europe to meet customers
  • Run workshops with customers to gain an in-depth understanding of their requirement and how the products will support their business needs
  • Supporting the sales team with RFP’s (Request for Proposal) as the subject matter expert
  • Answering client queries

Essential Requirements

  • Expertise in Fund Accounting from a bank, vendor or third party administrator
  • Willing to travel – this could be anything from zero to 50% on a monthly basis
  • Excellent client facing skills
  • Genuine interest in move into this type of role

Non-essential requirements

  • English plus a second major European language
