About the role
Part of Consumer Duty squad delivering Power BI reports and dashboards to be embedded in decision making and decision making forums.
Collaborating across the squad to build out tabular models within Power BI conforming to best practise approaches.
An expert in use of Power BI, including building best practise Tabular Models, using DAX to perform measures and building visualisations.
Building Power BI solutions using tools like Tabular Editor, DAX Studio.
Experience of building Power BI solutions using CI/CD and version control principles.
SQL Experience. Databricks experience desirable but not essential.
Experience of mentoring and coaching more junior team members
Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively present complex technical concepts and results to people with a wide ranging of backgrounds and experiences.

Power BI EngineerAbout the role
Part of Consumer Duty squad delivering Power BI reports and dashboards to be embedded in decision making and decision making forums.
Collaborating across the squad to build out tabular models within Power BI conforming to best practise approaches.
- Develop reports, dashboards, data visualisations and other analytics solutions, that are sustainable and support business requirements.
- Using DAX efficiently to build out measures to support both visualisations but also self service analysis.
- Communicate findings and results of these initiatives back to internal stakeholders to influence decision making
- Define, promote, and ensure that robust data visualisation practices are adhered to.
- Create and maintain documentation of BI deliveries.
- Coach and mentor more junior team members
