One of the most influential FinTech organisations that have a unique digital banking platform have had over £5 million worth of funding and are expanding their development team. Within this role you must be an open-source enthusiast who takes pride in delivering clean and efficient web products. You must have experience with PHP6 and have experience with MySQL. They are using MVC ad Zend framework on the majority of their systems, but you don’t need to necessarily have all the tech skills as a positive personality with an ambitious mind-set will allow you to pick up the skills. You will be working closely with the back-end team and front end team to deliver super-slick systems for their huge user base, which is exploiting your topical banking systems.

Key requirements within this PHP Developer role are as follows:

  • Solid PHP programming experience – Required
  • Experience with either Zend or MVC frameworks – Essential
  • An articulate programmer – Required
  • Keen to get into the FinTech industry – Required
  • Experience with AngularJS, JavaScript and other Front End technologies – Desirable
  • SOAP and Restful services experience – Required

This opportunity is designed for a passionate PHP programmer who wants to be a coding superstar and collaborate with some of the best developers in the industry. They will allow you to work across the full stack and allow you to implement practices and technologies. They offer great career incentives in a non-bureaucratic environment where you will gain skills over the course of 18 months that you wouldn’t get from a large organisation.
