Harrington Starr are working with a leading player in the alternative investment management space.  My client is currently hiring for a front office application support specialist to join the New York based team.

The role will include but will not be limited to the following:

  • Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the OMS
  • You will be working directly with the traders and supporting their live environment
  • Monitoring systems and thinking of ways to reduce common problems

To be considered for the position, you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Solid knowledge of front office OMS
  • Tested and installed new models into the production process
  • Record and take ownership of issues using internal Jira systems and following through to successful resolution
  • Monitor trades and booking issues
  • You will have skills of FIX configuration and troubleshooting
  • Experience of Windows operating system
  • Use SQL to query Oracle and MS SQL databases
  • Understanding of full trade life cycle front to back
  • Ability to work with in a front office diverse environment
