Harrington Starr is working with a leading Financial company organisation who is currently looking for a talented and bright Office 365 SME to join their established team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a Financial company that is looking to expand its team.

The overall objective of this role is to act as the Office 365 SME in a critical role within the My Digital Workplace programme, providing technical expertise for the migration of users to Office 365. The role will involve customising the Office 365 tenant, planning and testing the migration process and troubleshooting any issues encountered during or after migrations. The individual will arm the employees with the best tools and information available to help them excel at the work they do and deliver a world-class customer experience.  The role requires ensuring that Products are delivered to the required predefined and agreed quality standards, within the specified constraints to time and cost and quality. Additionally, the role is to ensure that delivery produces the result of the benefits defined at the Project Initiation stage (PID) and that all aspects of delivery meet the projects “Acceptance and agreed standards.”

Candidate Profile / Key Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of Exchange and Office 365 architecture
  • Extensive knowledge of Office 365 migration tools and technologies
  • Excellent PowerShell skills
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory migrations
  • A solid understanding of TCP/IP network concepts and network trouble-shooting
  • Experience in maintaining systems in enterprise class data centre environments
