Sales Director – Connectivity and Data - £85K on the base OTE £80k plus fantastic benefits
My client is a massive global player in the financial data market place. Their reputation is unrivalled and their products, some of the best on the market.
They are looking for a hungry business executive that can formulate a sales plan, understand the territory, execute on a sales strategy in London and continental Europe, excluding French speaking territories.
This is not a relationship management role. This is a new business hunter role.
The role is based in their London office, that is situated in the heart of the city. Selling consolidated, normalised data feeds and raw HFT data feeds to proprietary trading houses, hedge funds, prime brokers and the rest of the sell side who wish to consume API based data in third party applications.
You will be a self-starter and have the motivation to run with your business. Generate leads and follow up to close.
You will be a hunter rather than a farmer, with 80% of your business coming from your own lead generation efforts and 20% from cross selling into existing accounts subscribing to other products from this vendor.
You will have a background in selling software as a service, cloud based services, subscription based services, HFT software or data and/or consolidated data services.
You must have experience selling vendor services to the financial services industry.
