Our client is seeking a strong candidate who will join the Global network team and will be responsible for the overall global network of the company.
The Network Team is central to the global IT services within the Technology department. As a Network Engineer you will monitor and maintain the network systems to ensure maximum uptime and service delivery to the business.
The reason for this hire is to help with the increased BAU and project workload.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, support and troubleshoot issue on networks and systems
- Provide direct support to users from global offices
- Perform BAU changes across all systems under change control process
- Automate tasks across all networking systems
- Operational support and troubleshooting/root cause analysis for all network related issues.
- Perform network and firewall changes to meet new requirements.
- Managing network ticket queues.
- Monitoring the global network infrastructure.
- Documentation of the global network infrastructure.

Skills/Experience Desired:
- Palo Alto firewall minimum 2 years' experience
- Cisco IOS experience minimum 5 years' experience
- Juniper JUNOS experience MX/SRX
- BGP/OSPF routing protocols
- IPSec VPN
- Routing, Switching, NAT
- Good understanding of Spanning Tree Protocol and Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol
- IP network packet troubleshooting and analysis
