Murex System Analyst – Contract – London

A leading International bank based in the city requires an experience Murex System Analyst. The role will be working on a critical project and will be performing the analysis and the development of the Control-M chart to support the credit and energy trade migration projects. Sitting in the testing stream but working closely with the datamart/reporting, RTB Support and other teams within the project.


You will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for the creation, amending, maintaining of the credit migration go-live day 1 chart.
  • Responsible for ensuring this chart is up to date with the latest production fixes.
  • Responsible for promoting changes to production prior to go-live where it makes sense.
  • Responsible for undertaking performance testing to ensure the EOD chart meets our SLAs.

Perform testing and validation of functionality.

Document and update Wiki instructions for support.

Must follow and uphold QA procedures, standards and conventions.

Be able to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.



Previous experience in Control-M a must.  Candidate should be able to talk to:

Creating/amending charts

Source Control/Diffing techniques

Performance testing


Murex skills:

Essential: Datamart expertise


Risk Matrices

Market Data Viewer

Experience with performance management of reporting batches.


Technical skills:

Unix scripting
