Harrington Starr have partnered exclusively with a leading FinTech organisation who use heavy data streams to publish high-value content and market information across the Finance arena. The large, yet growing organisation have a number of products that allow customers a niche insight into various areas of financial data. Although the business’ product happens to focus on Finance, the organisation itself very much operate in a techy, design driven environment with a team that looks to push the boundaries and re-define UI/UX Design on a daily basis.
The successful applicant will be seeking an opportunity to join a close knit team of 4 who focus purely on Design, working on a number of the organisations leading products and develop your personal skillset to a new level. The role offers clear progression and the opportunity to learn and develop knowledge of UX, as the preference would be someone with a lean towards UI capabilities. The ideal applicant will have the ability to influence design practices, have strong opinions on both user experience and user interface, alongside being able to communicate ideas via wireframes and prototypes. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact and be involved with varying, exciting projects.
Key Requirements for the Mid-Weight UI/UX Designer:
- Ideally 2+ years commercial UI/UX experience (with a lean towards UI)
- An in-depth portfolio of works, demonstrating key design experience
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Demonstrate knowledge of wireframes and interactive prototypes
- Key experience of visual design – Sketch/Adobe CC
- Work closely with other business areas/teams
- Work from home 1 day a week!
The successful Mid-Weight UI/UX Designer will play a key and pivotal role in crafting a suite of digital products, whilst joining the mission of re-defining Design and pushing boundaries daily. You will work on a variety of the organisations leading platforms/products with a heavy user base, impacting and bringing actionable design ideas into the team.
