A dynamic commodities trading organisation are seeking a full stack C# web developer to join their London front office team and work closely with the business. This company specialise in commodities trading and run some of the most exciting strategies giving them a competitive edge over their competitors. They are seeking a junior to mid-level developer to work on some critical business trading applications, which will be used by the trade floor.
Within this role you will ideally come from a strong academic background with a computer science degree and be passionate about working with finance. It is advantageous if you have worked within the financial sector, but not essential as the team will provide knowledge on the financial side. You will need to have strong experience with C# development with a bias towards ASP.Net and web technologies with either Angular or ReactJS as you will be building trading tool SPA’s for the traders to use. These applications will need to be dynamic and have a fluid feel with an intuitive UI. You will have a variety of web based projects to work on, but not only this as you will gain exposure to desktop technologies too.
Key requirements for this role are as follows:
- At least 2 years’ experience as a programmer with strengths in C# development - Essential
- A computer Science degree – Required
- Analytical minded with a passion for technology - Essential
- Experienced with multi-threaded development – Desirable
- Passionate about working with algorithms - Required
