An innovative prop-trading company that specialise in dark pool trading and provide analytics using real-time, reference and market data to encourage trading advantages. They are seeking a technologist who specialises in C# development to design and build a cutting-edge back and middle office system. This is an exciting role which will offer major Greenfield projects.
Within this role you will need to have strong experience in C# development with a mathematical approach to software development and be a clean coder. You will be building a scalable, fault-tolerant, real-time (24/7) back/middle office platform and will need to have experience with TDD to write clean and efficient code. It will require extensive experience in server-side development with multi-threading experience. C++ experience is advantageous but not essential, however strong experience with algorithms and complex data structures is a must. They are using the full Microsoft stack and will require you to be able to architect a new system and build it using the best tools.
Key requirements from this role:
- At least 3 years’ experience as a C# .Net developer – Required
- Ability to work across the full stack – Required
- Passionate about working with algorithms and data structures – Required
- Ability to write clean code using TDD methodologies - Required
- C++ experience – Desirable
- Seeking work within a global leading trading organisation – Required
- Ability to make technological decisions and influence the architecture – Required
