A small group of Investment Management technology professional are in the initial stages of building a cloud based investment platform. Due to their network within the industry and vast experience across it, they have targeted a niche market and are due to exploit it. They are seeking a Mean Stack Developer to join their London based team to help build their cutting edge platform.

Within this role you will be required to have at least 2 years’ experience with working on the MEAN stack using NodeJS, MongoDB, Postgres and JavaScript. They will be building a cloud based platform using Amazon Web Services, so experience with AWS or other cloud services is a must. They will use a plethora of frameworks on front-end, but are planning to use React and Angular. This is a dynamic role, which will require a full stack technologist to build something from the ground up. You will need to be passionate about software architecture and want to do more than code from a spec in this ever-changing environment.

Key requirements for this role are as follows:

  • At least 2 years’ experience with MEAN stack development- Required
  • AWS experience – Required
  • A computer science degree with a quantitative approach to software development – Essential
  • Professional experience with NodeJS – Required
  • Worked with ReactJS or AngularJS – Desirable
  • Keen to join a start-up – Required
