A quantitative trading asset management fund based in the heart of London are seeking a skilled software developer to work on their live systematic trading applications. This organisation specialise in all major asset classes and have some exciting Greenfield projects on their systematic trading arm.

This opportunity will require you to have strong skills in programming, preferably with C# and Python. It is essential that you have some sort of scripting experience with either Perl, Python, Lua or Ruby. You will be assigned to confidential research work and be empowered to improve trading tools and applications as well as experiment with machine learning concepts for strategies. You will also work on low latency systems and if you have experience with the Linux TCP stack this will be highly advantageous.

Key requirements

  • Strong OO programming with C#
  • Either a computer science or numerate degree
  • Experience with statistical programming languages
  • Strong SQL Knowledge
  • Financial experience
  • Keen interest in machine learning
  • Experience with FIX – Advantageous
