Market Data Sales Professional – Corporate Actions and Reference Data Sales

The company

A market leading provider of market data, software and services to the global financial services industry. My client is an established and growing brand that has recently launched some new initiatives and continues to stay at the forefront of the market through innovation. They are looking to expand their London team with an experience sales person to sell market data and related solutions to buy and sell side firms in the UK.

The role

  • A mixture of sales into new logo clients and other areas of existing accounts
  • Selling a variety of market data and solutions with an emphasis on reference and regulatory data solutions
  • Working with pre-sales and product management to provide bespoke data sets/services where required and economically viable
  • Competing with other data vendors to win lucrative contracts from major financial firms

Requirements

  • Experience selling market data or related solutions into the financial services sector
  • Knowledge of reference data would be ideal
  • Understanding of MiFID II
  • Good sales track record against a quota
  • Excellent negotiation skills
