Linux System Administrator / Linux System Engineer – City of London – Linux, RHEL, VMware, Scripting - £85,000

A dynamic and innovative Financial Services organisation based in the City of London is currently looking to hire a talented Linux System Administrator / Linux System Engineer (Linux, RHEL, Scripting, VMware) to join their established and growing team. This role requires the candidate to have a proven track record of developing and supporting Linux technologies within scalable environments.

Day-to-day responsibilities of the Linux System Administrator / Linux System Engineer (Linux, RHEL, Scripting, VMware) will include: evolving my client’s existing platforms and processes. Evaluating new technologies, trialing, testing and handing-over to the Delivery and Operations teams. Working closely alongside the developers and architecture teams to deliver real business improvements and building out infrastructure services.

To be considered for the Linux System Administrator / Linux System Engineer role you will require the following skill-set:

• Strong background in Linux System Administration
• Linux (RHEL)
• Scripting
• VMware
