Lead Full Stack Developer – Python/React

£120,000 + bonus

FinTech, London

We're working with a profitable, scaling FinTech who need a Lead Full Stack Engineer to join the core platform team, working on high volume data analytics that are close to becoming industry standard in the Hedge Fund sector.

Specific industry experience is not required, but a desire to work in this sector is essential.

You need to have excellent Python development experience (not just scripting), excellent React development skills and the ability to provide technical and people-leadership. You don’t have to have had previous leadership experience.

Experience with some of the following will be useful, but what you don't know, full training will be provided:

• MySQL
• RabbitMQ
• Docker
• AWS (EC2, S3, Serverless, Cloudformation
• GitLab
• Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)

The interview process is as follows:

1. You spend 30 minutes talking to the Head of Development - he will run through your CV and talk to you in detail about the role.

2. Technical VC interview – approx. 90 minutes with the Head of Dev and a senior engineer, talking through your coding test plus a live problem-solving exercise.

3. Chat with the CEO, who'll give you a broader overview of the business goals and make sure you're up for the ride!
