An award winning FinTech organisation in Nottingham are looking to specifically enhance the Technology division with a hire of an experienced LAMP Developer. The organisation work in a variety of revolutionary areas in FinTech, covering specific markets and offering tailored products which has accelerated the business’s growth and market presence.
The successful candidate for the LAMP Development role will be responsible for delivering new features and development using an array of cutting edge technology. You will work within an Agile team, following the best development practices to enhance, maintain and develop financial applications written in the LAMP stack. You will also be involved with new ideas in relation to software applications, new feature development and solving complex software problems with key experience in said areas. You will also work closely with other members of the development team to meet company standards in development and applications.
Key Requirements for the LAMP Development hire:
- Technical understanding of the LAMP stack.
- Key appreciation to the best software engineering practices & application architecture.
- Excellent MySQL knowledge
- TDD or BDD knowledge
- Understanding of Linux systems
- Exposure to Zend, Symfony & HTML/CSS
- Good understanding or general source control practices
The LAMP Developer will have the opportunity to be a part of a growing, established organisation and will have the opportunity to accelerate knowledge and FinTech domain knowledge in a close knit team. You will participate in daily stand ups, complete tasks to a high standard and be involved with the full development life-cycle.
