Trading Application Support Analyst

A Trading Application Support Analyst is required for a leading financial services business based in London, supporting clients within London as well as the EMEA region.

As a Trading Application Support Analyst you will be involved in level 1 and level 2 support of my clients business applications. This is a senior position with opportunity to progress into a team lead or managerial role for the right individual. You will be required to undergo significant on-going training to ensure that both technically and functionally; you are able to become a leader in the industry. Training will be given by both internal and external sources to ensure that your knowledge of Technologies such as UNIX, FIX Protocol, SQL and Functional areas such as Equities and Derivatives.

In this fantastic role as a Trading Application Support Analyst, you will liaise with both Technical staff and Front Office Users of the multi-faceted Technology to troubleshoot both Technical and Functional problems.

Required Skills:

• Over 5 years’ experience support trading systems
• Keen to work in a Support role and receive significant training
• Strong Linux scripting skills
• Good experience with SQL
• Computer Science or Mathematics / Physics Degree
