The North Starr recruitment business are actively looking to hire a Junior Data Engineer for one of our most prestigious clients based in West London.

 

This role is an amazing opportunity for a Junior Data Engineer to take their career to the next level.

 

Based near to Shepherds Bush, West London we require the Data Engineer to join a highly motivated team of people all looking to make a difference to the client experience.

 

The core responsibilities are as follows:

 

Supporting infrastructure for data analytics and reporting such as Looker, Redshift,  Matillion and Snowplow and the flows of data into them. 

Work proactively with the business sponsors and wider team to understand the  business data and rules.

Help to Integrate new data sources into a data warehouse system such as Amazon redshift 

Manipulate the data via an ETL tool to provide data required for reporting and analytics 

 

To qualify for an immediate telephone interview we require you to possess the following skills:

Have some commercial exposure of data and analytics tools, such as Databases, ETL tools, Reporting and  Analysis tools

Experience of data and analytics tools, such as Databases, ETL tools, Reporting and  Analysis tools

Strong SQL experience

Have an understanding of tech stacks around Looker, Redshift, Matillion or Snowplow.

Any programming understanding around Python, R highly advantageous.

Please note that there will be hands-on training into some of these areas for the right candidates.
