Java / SQL Developer

Systematic Trading Firm

£90,000 - £95,000 + bonus + benefits

A systematic trading firm based in London have a vacancy for a talented Java and SQL developer to join their data team.

The data team is at the centre of everything this firm do, ranging from providing real-time information to traders, through to ensuring the regulatory and compliance teams have what they need.

You’ll be joining at an exciting time where new technologies are being rolled out including Snowflake, Flink and a full cloud (AWS) migration is taking place.

If you’re a strong Java and SQL developer who wants to take a bit more ownership of the projects you work on, this role will allow you to own what you do from start to finish.

As such, you should have the following attributes:

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• At least 4yrs commercial Java and SQL development skills
• An understanding of the financial markets
• A computer science or engineering degree
