A Distributed Ledger platform that is being built to harness high frequency trading technology is looking to hire a High Performance Software Engineer to work on the development of the platform.

As the High Performance Software Engineer (Java, OpenCL, Multicast Networking) you will have been working on very low level programming, ideally having interacted on a low level of the networking. You will know OpenCL, have a good understanding of multicast network fundamentals and will know how to write garbage collection free Java code. This is a role for someone who loves interacting with software at every single level to ensure it is fully optimised and is able to run as quickly as possible.

This firm are looking to harness technology that is commonly found in the defence, high frequency trading or CPU industries. They will give you the chance to be part of building an exceptional quick and clever system that will allow distributed ledger technology to be utilised to its absolutely fullest potential.

The High Performance Software Engineer (Java, OpenCL, Multicast Networking) will need:

  • Experience writing lock free Java code – Essential
  • Experience with multicast networking – Essential
  • Experience with OpenCL – Highly Beneficial
  • Experience with Video streaming, targeting systems, High Frequency trading or CPU manufacture – Highly Beneficial
  • Experience with Options pricing libraries – Beneficial
