Helpdesk Engineer, Hedge Fund, NYC
Harrington Starr have partnered with a global alternative asset manager in a search for a Helpdesk Engineer to support their internal end-user desktop environment in their New York City office.
The Helpdesk Engineer should have at least 5 years’ experience working in a Helpdesk environment supporting an internal end-user desktop environment. Experience working in a fast-paced Capital Markets setting providing white-glove quality Tier 1 and 2 IT support to VIP level internal customers is highly preferred as well as a collaborative, pro-active approach. Experience with a Microsoft Windows environment is required including SCCM, Active Directory and Exchange.
At least 5 years of hands-on technical experience required including:
- Active Directory
- Windows operating systems
- Microsoft Exchange
- Troubleshooting hardware
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP troubleshooting
- Excellent communications and customer service skills
