The company

Start-up SaaS analytics providers that has recently received Series A funding is looking to hire their first ever Head of Sales Operations. Their platform provides professional traders and analysts with artificial intelligence powered tools to help them improve their trading and risk management activity.

The company was founded by two leading industry experts and has gone from strength to strength and, with a product that has been proven to add significant value to customers, are looking to ramp up their sales.

The role

  • Devise and implement a clear and coherent sales process ensuring it is communicated and adopted by the sales team
  • Responsible for driving standards, quality and accuracy of the sales efforts and data
  • Analyse new market, client and partner segments to support revenue growth
  • Responsible for designing and implementing an effective reporting and analysis system
  • Provide business management with forecasting, pipeline, win-loss analysis and other data critical to improving revenues and sales performance
  • Responsible for identifying, implementing, training and utilisation of sales tools, for example HubSpot
  • Analyse and design solutions to address specific sales challenges for example markets and client segments
  • Engage with customers and partners to better understand the bottlenecks and challenges encountered during sales
  • Ensure plans are in place to support the changing state of play as the company quickly scales up

Requirements

  • Proven Sales Operations experience at a software/SaaS business
  • Experience of designing, implementing and supporting sales process, strategy, reporting, forecasting, analysis and other areas critical to the functioning of a high-performing sales team
  • Track record of supporting significant revenues growth
  • Preferably, experience at a start-up or high-growth business
  • Experience with Hub Spot
