Job description
Head of Information Security.Harrington Starr are seeking a Head of Information Security for a leading fintech business with a global presence (5 offices, 200+ staff) with specialised/ niche solutions used by top tier banks internationally.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all security risks and driving the SOC2 accreditation and maintenance of the existing ISO27001 certification, whilst managing a small in-house team
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain a technology risk strategy, framework and register.
- Drive the SOC2 accreditation – the company is already ISO27001 certified
- Oversight of all processes used within the technology team (development, change management)
- Deliver all data protection requirements.
- Providing a client advisory service on security.
- Provide direction to the engineering and operations on Security.
- Gather threat intelligence and manage the security posture.
Relevant Skills:
- Experience within an information security management role within a fintech start up or scale up where you have been through the journey to get the company ISO27001 and/ or SOC 2 certified (essential)
- Experience of dealing with top tier banks as clients (essential)
- Experience and experience of working with technical teams
- Strong knowledge of GDPR and data protection
- Stakeholder management up to C level
- CISSP or CISM certifications
