Global Head of Sales

Global Head of Sales - A an established global Financial Technology firm is looking for a hybrid player/coach to join their NY team. The right candidate will sell their Business Intelligence based SaaS to portfolio managers and help expand/manage their team by adding new sales professionals.
Required Skills:
-Must have quota beaten sales (10+yr), and proven management (5+) exp.
-Must have exp. selling to portfolio managers in buy side firms.
-Exp. generating leads and closing on 1-6 month sales cycle.
-Excellent presentation, business writing, analytical and oral communication skills.
-College/University bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.
-Willingness to travel globally.
Job Responsibilities:
-No cold calling, but candidate must network via social media, e-mail marketing, and attend conference events for new business leads.
-Candidate must grow the sales team by 6 Jr. members by the end of 2019.
-Right candidate will wear multiple hats, be proactive selling, coaching, and working with the product specialists. (Startup mentality!)
-Must travel to meet clients nationwide, and globally.
-Achieve/exceed sales objectives and quotas through closing new business and up-selling with current clients.
