An opportunity has arisen for a Full Stack Java Engineer to take a big step in their career by joining a large data provisioning organisation as a senior engineer and work on a large number of greenfield development projects whilst being taught the financial markets.

The firm provide critical information to some of the largest organisations in the World relating to mergers and acquisitions – the type of information that will move markets and has an enormous impact on the global finance community.

Previous experience in this field isn’t required as full training will be provided around the business.

If you’re hungry to use your excellent server-side Java and front end technical knowledge and join a firm that will offer you exceptional career progression opportunities, this could be the perfect role for you.

Some of the technologies you will be exposed to include:

  • Java 8
  • JavaScript (ES6 and Typescript);
  • Angular 2+ (JavaScript framework; other web component based framework experience is ok)
  • Microservices
  • NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Elasticsearch)
  • Cloud (Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) or AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
  • Messaging (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, Kafka)

Previous experience in all is highly desirable, however, demonstrating a desire to learn is the most important factor.
