We are looking for an expert to help us manage our growing support demand for mobile deviceproductsandservices. WehavealargeApplefootprintaswellasWindows10 laptops across the firm. While this person will own all services related to mobile dev ices, they will also be exposed to and participate in the management of our wider corporate infrastructure. Automation and standardisation are key – the mobile environment should asfaraspossiblebeself-maintaining,scalableandsecure.

How will your day look?

Yourresponsibilitieswill include:

  • ?  Providingday-to-daysupportforourgrowinginfrastructureofmobiledeviceproducts(especiallyApple)

  • ?  Design and build scalable solutions to manage the multitude of devices in our environment

  • ?  Automatefirstapproachcombinedwithstrongprocessforthetechnologystack

  • ?  Derive self-service for day to day requests and requirements

  • ?  Enable the devices to work seamlessly in a predominantly Windows corporate environment

  • ?  Working with other members of the IT team to continuously improve the infrastructure

  • ?  Occasional travel to various sites in London and abroad

  • ?  Participation in a rota schedule where some out of hours and weekend work will be required

    What makes a great candidate?

    In order for you to get the most out of this role, you’ll need to have experience with:

  • ?  Mobile devices and services – especially Apple iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, iCloud, App Store, etc, as well as Windows 10 laptops

  • ?  Microsoft Endpoint Management / Intune

  • ?  Airwatch / Workspace ONE

  • ?  Office 365 – especially Teams, Outlook and SharePoint/OneDrive

    You will also need to have:

  • ?  Experience with face-to-face VIP support (ideally in a financial services environment) excellent communication skills (articulate with strong logic), strong interpersonal skills, proactive approach and attention to detail are all a must

  • ?  A minimum 2.1 degree from a Russell Group University and A levels at grade A*/A/B (or international equivalents)

    We would also prefer you to have:

  • Other collaboration services – Zoom, WebEx, Jabber etc

  • Experience in scripting and automation with Apple devices in a Window s environment

  • Be comfortable in a high-pressure environment and able to deal with ambiguity

  • ?Understanding of SRE/DevOps principles
