Market leading provider of software and services to the global buy-side community including major asset managers and insurance companies. They are an established brand and have expanded their client base steadily on the back of a growing suite of products and customer-centric approach to business.

The role

  • Managing a team of 5 Relationships Managers that cover the EMEA client base
  • Oversee the creation of account plans and ensure these are executed effectively
  • Monitor the quality and effectiveness of the Relationship Managers
  • Monitor and take overall responsibility for client satisfaction
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge base of the key decision makers across the EMEA client base
  • Liaise with other Directors and teams internally across the EMEA, Americas and Asia regions
  • Build, train, motivate and manage an effective Relationship Management team
  • Identify risks and opportunities with clients ensuring risks are addressed and opportunities maximised
  • Ensure best practice is adhered to and processes optimised where possible
  • Maintain a record of all aspects of the client relationships and provide forecasts and updates to senior management

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer facing team management position
  • Good understanding of the investment management sector
  • Extensive experience working with enterprise grade software solutions at a financial services software vendor
  • Expertise in successfully resolving issues and overcoming challenges
  • Experience in hiring and training a team
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers at C-level
  • Degree level education in a technology or numerical discipline
