Harrington Starr have partnered with a very exciting London based startup that have recently secured a $40M funding round that is largely being used to expand their US presence. On deck for the expansion are hiring numerous roles in NYC and SF across Enterprise Sales Reps, Mid Market sales, Startup focused sales reps, Business Development reps and Solutions Engineers. To help facilitate this expansion they are also looking for a Mid-Market Sales Manager (NYC), BDR Manager (NYC) and this role, the Director of Enterprise Sales (SF) focused on building a team of enterprise sales reps selling into the 5000+ employee tech companies. 

The ideal Director of Sales will be a player-coach with experience building and training a sales team focused at the enterprise client level. They will bring energy, passion and excitement to a growing organization that is currently $300M in valuation but looking to get to the $10B mark in the next 3-5 years. 

Responsibilities:
  • Selling our client's SaaS and API focused products into financial institutions, corporates and tech firms. 
  • Helping build and manage a team of approx. 5 sales reps
  • Training new team members on how to effectively visualize and pitch our clients solutions
  • Full sales cycle approach, this is a startup so the mentality to contribute across the board from prospecting to close is a big part of this job, even if not all parts are always required.
  • Partnering with the sales engineering team to deliver solutions to the client base.
  • As a leader, you will serve as a valuable cross functional contributor to our US and global go to market strategy
  • Identify product and technology gaps through customer relationships and present a point of view to Codat’s Product and Leadership Teams
  • Run weekly forecast meetings and coach Account Executives on strategies to accomplish their goals
  • Report on sales activity and manage a regular revenue forecast
  • Achieve key performance metrics and goals

Qualifications:
  • ~5-10 years of sales experience selling SaaS solutions into the enterprise markets
  • ~2-3+ years of relevant player coach experience in the same space
  • Knowledge of API's, SaaS products and the sales cycle for those products is a big plus
  • 4 year accredited college degrees
