Atlassian DevOps Lead – £105,000 Basic ( Circa £150,000 Total Comp) – Hybrid – Global Investment Bank
This role is to provide thought leadership, delivery capability and administration of their Development Operations to support an IT delivery and projects department.
Our client is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to manage and evolve the processes and tooling that make up our clients DevOps capability across all development projects and in addition delivers in house built applications and integration for the implementation of vendor solutions across the front and middle office which currently has 4,000 employees, over £2 trillion in managed assets and more than 140 offices worldwide.
The department has recently implemented Atlassian products and is implementing further tools to support CI/CD software pipelines to help with the drive to improve the speed it goes to market.
Build out the CI/CD pipeline across all development teams and develop their understanding of good CI/CD practises.
Effectively communicate with all stakeholders to sell ideas and keep people appraised of progress.
Own, govern and administer the use of our Atlassian platform and CI/CD tooling across the IT department, providing thought leadership on their best use.
Drive adoption of agreed standard practises in the use the development and project delivery tooling across all IT.
Provide independent challenge to the teams across IT to deliver a modern DevOps environment appropriate for our enterprise.
