Desktop Support Manager / Service Desk Manager - City of London - ITIL, Financial Services, Project Management, People Management, Windows, Bloomberg, Reuters - £65,000

A leading and innovative financial services organization based in the city are currently looking to hire a Desktop Support Manager / Service Desk Manager (ITIL, Financial Services, Project Management, People Management, Windows, Bloomberg, Reuters) to manage the EMEA Desktop Team. The successful candidate will be acting as primary contact on Global Business Solutions and Technology Desktop Operations in the EMEA region.

Day-to-day responsibilities of the Desktop Support Manager / Service Desk Manager (ITIL, Financial Services, Project Management, People Management, Windows, Bloomberg, Reuters) will include: people management of the EMEA Desktop team; carrying out regular 121's combined with annual performance reviews; acting as a point of escalation and refining, developing and releasing operational processes and procedures.

To be considered for the Desktop Support Manager / Service Desk Manager role you will require the following skill-set:

  • People Management (ideally of an EMEA Team)
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Project Management
  • Incident and Problem Management
  • Acting as a key escalation point
  • Financial Services Experience
  • ITILv3
