Desktop Support Manager – City of London – Financial Services, ITIL, SLAs, KPIs, Hands-on - £75,000

A leading Hedge Fund is looking to hire a Desktop Support Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Desktop Support Manager with strong leadership skills and a financial services background to join a company which prides itself on its ambition and collaborative culture.

In this role you will be both hands on and hands off technically. You will be tasked with ensuring all Desktop Support KPIs are met, ensuring end users are satisfied. You will be responsible for setting objectives for staff and carrying out appraisals and 1-to-1's therefore it is vital for this role to be a strong communicator and personable in nature. In terms of technology you will be overseeing the Desktop Support personnel dealing with issues 1st-3rd line so strong hands on experience of Windows tech is a must.

In order to be considered for the role the following skills will be required;

  • Support of Windows Environments (Windows, Exchange, VMware, Citrix, SCCM etc)
  • Hands on management experience of multiple teams (e.g. KPI setting, carrying out staff appraisals, objective setting)
  • Excellent communication skills and a highly client facing nature
  • Financial Service experience (ideal)
