In this role as Desktop Support Engineer you will be logging tickets and troubleshooting from within a global team. You will be creating and modifying service accounts as well as setting up mail group access, application requirements, file structure set up and hardware requirements (PCs, Ipads, Iphones, Blackberries etc.) You will also be expected to be proactive in devising and implementing actions to reduce helpdesk calls and identifying service improvement actions with the aim of creating a more efficient, robust system and service desk.

In order to be considered for the role of Desktop Support Engineer the following skills will be required;

- 3-5 years experience in 2nd Line support

- Strong experience of troubleshooting in a windows environment (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy etc

- Solid knowledge of Exchange, Server VMware etc

- Experience of Market Data Systems (Reuters, Bloomberg, Proquote)

- Knowledge of Citrix XenApp 6.5 and remote access tech
