Desktop Support Engineer / 2nd Line Support Engineer – City of London – Windows, Server, Exchange, Active Directory, MS Office, Financial Services - £35,000

A leading Financial Firm based in the City is currently looking to hire a talented Desktop Support Engineer / 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their growing team. This role will sit in the Technology IT Infrastructure team and will be reporting directly in to the Head of IT Operations and Infrastructure. My client is looking for someone who has excellent trouble shooting skills along with financial services experience.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include: troubleshooting in order to ensure smooth running of the desktop environment; system installation and decommissioning; configuring new hardware; software patching and providing excellent customer service.
