Desktop Support Engineer, IT Consulting firm, San Francisco

One of our top clients, a fast-growing IT Consulting firm, is hiring for a junior Desktop Support Engineer in its San Francisco office.

The role will offer extensive hands-on exposure to new technology and opportunities for problem solving, with a mid-to-long term opportunity for career growth and increased focus on more specialized technology areas like network engineering, security, and disaster recovery.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, be able to travel to client sites when needed, and at least a year of experience with Windows desktop support and PC/office hardware support with experience interacting face to face with internal or external clients and resolving difficult situations. A bachelor’s degree, exposure to Active Directory administration, network support, ActiveSync and mobile device support, and Citrix/VPN/Virtualization are nice to have.
