Desktop Support Engineer - 1st and 2nd Line Support

5 days a week in the London trading office.

3 month initial contract

£150 per day outside IR35

 

Join a small but growing financial services team based in central London near the Bank of England as a 1st Line Support Analyst, providing desktop and remote support with exposure to a tech-savvy team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st/2nd line support for desktop, voice, and remote access.
  • Set up IT equipment, manage Active Directory, and maintain software compliance.
  • Support Microsoft Teams AV equipment, assist Linux/Network teams, and manage vendor relationships.

Skills/Experience:

  • 1-2 years' IT Support/Desktop Analyst experience.
  • Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Office 365, and Active Directory.
  • Installation/troubleshooting skills for software/hardware and basic VPN/networking.
  • Knowledge of MDM software is a plus.
  • Strong communication and prioritization skills.
