Director of Data Engineering

Established FinTech

London (Hybrid Working)

£140,000 + Bonus + Benefits

One of the UK's fastest growing fintech's, who help firms manage multi-trillion dollar portfolios, are looking for someone to take ownership of the data estate.

You will work closely with the leadership team and be responsible for assigning tasks to engineers, tracking progress and working with key stakeholders to ensure deadlines are achieved.

You'll be involved in all key technical and design discussions with technical leads in the team as a hands-on manager, including your experience with technologies used for data pipelines, storage, processing, security, data management, governance, etc.

The preferred candidate will have:

• The ability to input, understand and challenge engineering decisions - but to empower the team to make autonomy decisions.
• AWS Cloud experience
• Agile management & mindset
• Financial Data knowledge
