Job description

An excellent opportunity to work as a Data Engineer within a global market maker. You will be a strategic hire within the data engineering team, which will allow you to have key input into the future direction of the data lake architecture and implementation of new greenfield projects.

The Role:

You will join an experienced data team, coming in to apply your experience across data lake development. This is a role that will offer the opportunity for agile working, with greenfield projects in the pipeline including moving the analytics pipelines to the Data Lake to prepare for the introduction of data science techniques.             
 

The Person:

• Strong experience with SQL
• Strong experience and understanding of Cloud technologies (Preferably Azure)
• Experienced with Python
• Strong knowledge and experience with Spark (or similar)
