A global investment management firm are seeking an experienced data developer with strong Python skills and experience working on the BMS Everest platform to take a senior role in their front office team.
You will work closely with traders and portfolio managers to build tools and gather information which will be used directly in trading decisions – if you like to see your work making an impact, you won’t find much better than this.
The ETL and data parsing layer is in Python – you need strong coding skills.
You need to be comfortable writing SQL queries – they use Postgres but any relational database experience is fine.
You must be an excellent communicator, and someone who is comfortable speaking to business users about financial data.
Career progression is a key element to this role with the longer-term plan to make this position the lead.
This is an opportunity to join a fast growing, highly successful buy side firm, with several billion dollars of long-term capital under management – they’re stable and growing with plenty of opportunity to progress.
