A global financial services firm are embarking on a brand-new project to harness the power of the vast quantities of financial data they produce.
The remit for this role is straight forward; using the enormous datasets that the firm continues to produce, explore the possibilities for each of the business areas to fully utilise what’s available.
This is a well-funded project in an incredibly profitable and well-respected business with a large, global client-base. This is an opportunity for an experience Data Architect to come in and add a whole new dimension to the business.
Previous experience of working in a financial services organisation could prove advantageous but is not a requirement.
The firm are currently working with MS Azure and associated tools. Skills with Python and SQL will be required, although this isn’t expected to be a hands-on role. You will already be experienced in database architecture and data warehousing.
This is a high-profile project with the potential to very quickly contribute to the bottom line of a hugely successful business, all in an environment that allows solutions to be implemented quickly without unnecessary layers of bureaucracy and red tape.
