Customer Support Engineer - FinTech Start-Up - NYC (remote start, onsite eventually)

Harrington Starr's client, a steadily growing FinTech start-up, is hiring for a mid-level engineer to join their NYC team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a cross-functional role that will work with customers throughout the entire lifecycle including deployment, integration, and support with a company that is bringing AI and automation to the banking and financial services industry. This is a hands-on technical role, but also offers a lot of long-term growth into different areas including pre-sales, customer success, and project management.

Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a technical role in the banking and financial services industry including both day-to-day support as well as projects, handling different situations including managing support escalations, design proposals, documentation, and application integration. Candidates must be comfortable with Linux command line and have a basic understanding of APIs. Experience with Python, containers (Docker or Kubernetes), and AWS is highly beneficial.
