We are seeking to fill an exciting role in our London Office for a Commercial Policy Analyst, reporting to the Head of Commercial Policy & Pricing located in Switzerland.
Our Pricing and Commercial Policy team develops and owns the official SIX Financial Information commercial pricing policy framework. This framework considers both current market positioning and future opportunities. Focused on process improvement, you will ensure continuous commercial support to the Sales and Customer Administration teams whilst working towards our vision of simplification and workflow optimization programs.
The role is based around supporting internal stakeholders with the implementation of Pricing launches and modifications, to facilitate the decision making and approval process of Commercial related Events and to develop new tools to deliver on Commercial transparency and reporting objectives.
Aside from supporting the entire Commercial launch cycle and associated tools, we would expect the successful candidate to have experience with financial data and insights into trends across the financial industry to help SIX make smart decisions in the pursuit our long-term data strategy.
Candidates should have a passion for number crunching and modelling as well as a genuine interest for driving efficiency via process and workflow improvements.
What you will do
Ensure timely update of the Commercial Policy documents and pricing calculators. Support the Annual Price Increase program, coordinate the roll out of price changes between Product Management, Sales and Exchange Administration. You will manage the stakeholder community through coordination of key meetings and clear communication of Commercial changes.
Focus on continuous improvement projects to achieve simplified processes, and create new ones, which enhance efficiency.
What you will bring
With either a background in financial services and experience in supporting strategic/decision making or in business analysis, you will bring an elementary understanding of Pricing models, possess strong mathematics & advanced Excel skills and be familiar with Business intelligence and reporting tools.
Analytical, conceptual and synthesis skills will be essential in order to be successful in this role.
With a focus on supporting the sales organization, you will need to demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
Previous experience of re-designing processes and workflows will be definite plus.
French or German language is desirable
Degree-level education and/or relevant experience
We are also interested in hearing from candidates with relevant experience who can demonstrate previous experience in either Data Operations or through a Vendor/Supplier role.
